Elizabeth K. McLeod, M.D., received her undergraduate degree in Biology summa cum laude from Virginia Tech. She went on to receive her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Following her internship in Internal Medicine at UF Shands Jacksonville, she completed her Ophthalmology residency training at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
Dr. McLeod is Board Certified in Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Board of Ophthalmology. She has practiced general ophthalmology for over 30 years, providing comprehensive care for a variety of ocular conditions, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease.
She is married to Patrick McLeod, Ph.D., and is the mother of three children. She loves spending time with her husband and family, as well as cooking, playing tennis, and walking on the beach.
