Frank W. McDonald, M.D. is a highly skilled ophthalmologist specializing in cataract, cornea, and refractive surgery. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame with honors, he went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he distinguished himself as Chief Resident. Dr. McDonald then advanced his expertise through a prestigious fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, gaining extensive experience in the treatment of complex corneal disease.

Dedicated to more than just surgical excellence, Dr. McDonald provides full-spectrum eye care for his patients, from managing diabetes and glaucoma to addressing a wide range of other ophthalmic conditions. He is an active member of leading professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the American Medical Association.
