Samuel Homra, M.D.

Dr. Samuel Homra, M.D. is a board-eligible ophthalmologist with advanced fellowship training in glaucoma and corneal surgery. A proud Jacksonville native, Dr. Homra is honored to return home to care for the community that shaped him.

He earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville and went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Dr. Homra then pursued dual fellowship training in glaucoma and cornea surgery at Your Eye Specialists in Fort Lauderdale, where he gained extensive experience in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, cataract surgery, premium intraocular lens implants, LASIK, and corneal transplantation.

Dr. Homra is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cornea and Refractive Surgeons. He is dedicated to delivering personalized, evidence-based care with an emphasis on patient education and long-term vision preservation.

When he's not in the clinic or operating room, Dr. Homra enjoys quality time with his family, relaxing at the beach, playing golf, and cheering on his hometown Jacksonville Jaguars.
